Job Description
**Job Title: Booking Officer** **Location:** Birmingham Central **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm **Salary:** £26,000 – £27,000 per annum. **About the Role:** **We are currently looking for a dedicated and organised Booking Officer** to join our busy and fast\-paced office environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys multitasking, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. As a key member of the Bookings Department, you will play an essential role in coordinating interpreting services and ensuring smooth day\-to\-day operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Answering incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently * Taking bookings via phone and email * Assigning jobs to interpreters using our advanced online portal * Managing booking requests accurately and in a timely manner * Ensuring all information is logged correctly and company procedures are followed * Always providing excellent customer service. **Essential Skills \& Qualities** **To be successful in this role, you must have:** * A professional attitude, particularly when working under pressure * Exceptional attention to detail. * Honesty, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility * The ability to use initiative and find efficient ways to complete tasks * The ability to always follow company policies and procedures * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills * Strong problem\-solving abilities with a customer\-focused mindset * The ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast\-paced environment * At least one reference from a previous employer. **Benefits of Working at AbsolutE:** **At AIT, you’ll be joining a supportive, international, and highly motivated team.
