Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Back End Developer role based in Karāchi. The Back End Developer will design, build, and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and services that power web and mobile products for startup clients. Responsibilities include implementing robust application logic, integrating databases and third-party services, optimizing performance and scalability, and ensuring security best practices. The role involves collaborating closely with front-end developers, designers, and product teams to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions. The Back End Developer will also participate in code reviews, write clean and testable code, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of the development workflow and architecture.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and general Software Development, including building and maintaining APIs and server-side components.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Programming fundamentals applied to modern back-end frameworks and languages manily Node js and next.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Front-End Development teams to deliver end-to-end features and maintain consistent interfaces.
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), version control systems (e.g., Git), and RESTful or GraphQL API design.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Knowledge of security best practices, performance optimization, and scalable architecture for high-growth products.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-focused environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
