Exciting Opportunity Alert! 🌟 HTC Global Services is hiring Azure Data Engineer - Streaming Expert for an 1-year extendable contract in Abu Dhabi, UAE (Onsite).
HTC Global Services - a leading CMM level 5 global provider of innovative IT and Business Process Services and Solutions since 1990 with headquarters in Troy, Michigan, USA.
Key Responsibilities
- 6+ years of experience in Azure Data Engineering with at least 3+ years of hands-on Databricks experience.
- Strong expertise in Apache Spark, PySpark, Structured Streaming, Delta Lake, and Databricks Lakehouse architecture.
- Extensive experience with streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, Confluent Kafka, or similar event-driven platforms.
- Strong understanding of real-time data processing, event-driven architectures, CDC, and micro-batch/continuous streaming patterns.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling for enterprise-scale data environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Familiarity with orchestration and workflow tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks Workflows.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience in airline, travel, hospitality, loyalty, or customer engagement domains is highly preferred.
