Asst Manager Accounting

**Job Description** As a Sr. Accounting Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the accounting function within the organization. You will be responsible for managing a team of accounting professionals, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization. In this role, you will impact the organization by overseeing various accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. You will analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to improve financial performance. Additionally, you will ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also play a key role in managing the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring that the budget aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. As a leader, you will mentor and develop your team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high\-performing work environment. **Responsibilities** Key Responsibilities * Lead and oversee the accounting function, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and financial statement preparation * Manage and develop a highperforming team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure excellence in work and adherence to deadlines * Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthend and yearend closing processes * Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounting function * Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to streamline and integrate accounting processes with other financial systems and functions * Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance in financial reporting * Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership to optimize the accounting function and contribute to overall financial goals **Qualifications** YOU MUST HAVE * Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance * Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting * Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems * Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast\-paced and dynamic environment WE VALUE * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance * CPA certification required * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines * Team player with excellent interpersonal skills * Continuous learning mindset **About Us** Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
