We’re looking for an Associate, People \& Culture to join our team in a true generalist role. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who is curious, driven, and excited to build experience across all areas of People \& Culture. In this role, you’ll gain hands\-on exposure to core operations, employee experience, and day\-to\-day people support. You’ll work closely with the Senior Associate and VP of People \& Culture, getting direct insight into how we build, scale, and evolve our people practices in a fast\-moving environment. **Please note this role is a 12\-month contract.**
**WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?**
* Support and execute key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee documentation
* Maintain and continuously improve data integrity within the HRIS, ensuring employee records are accurate, up to date, and audit\-ready
* Draft and coordinate employment letters, contracts, and other People \& Culture documentation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Support the P \& C team as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and thoughtful responses while escalating more complex matters as needed
* Support multi\-jurisdictional payroll processes in partnership with the Senior Associate, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
* Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling to support an efficient hiring process
* Contribute to employee experience initiatives, including engagement activities, internal communications, and team events
* Support the ongoing development, tracking, and communication of policies to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization
* Assist in preparing reports and delivering data insights for Finance, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders as required
* Provide operational support across the People \& Culture function, stepping in where needed to ensure team priorities are met
**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
* 0–2 years of experience in People \& Culture, operations, or a fast\-paced administrative/support role where you’ve had to manage competing priorities
* Post\-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and consistently follow through
* Exceptional attention to detail, you take pride in getting things right and catching what others might miss
* Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently across all levels of the organization
* A high level of discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information
* Comfort working with systems and data; experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Lattice) is an asset
* A proactive, self\-starter mindset, you don’t wait to be told what to do and are comfortable taking ownership of your work
* Curiosity and a willingness to learn, ask questions, and continuously improve how things are done
* Adaptability and resilience in a fast\-moving, evolving environment where priorities can shift quickly
* A team\-first mentality with a strong sense of accountability and a willingness to support wherever needed
