Job Description
**Responsibilities** : * Review and negotiate the technical and legal aspects of services and product agreements to ensure alignment with company‑approved Artificial Intelligence (AI) and intellectual property (IP) positions; identify risks, sensitize technology teams, and negotiate with clients, vendors, and partners. * Assist with contract review and negotiations for company products, including AI‑based and AI‑enabled offerings; collaborate closely with business and technology teams to understand technical and commercial context, and translate requirements into clear, enforceable legal documentation. * Conduct legal research on emerging technologies and global AI regulations and proactively update internal guidance and contractual positions based on regulatory developments and industry trends. * Support stakeholders on online and digital legal matters, including intermediary liability, web crawling, online brand protection, crowdsourcing models, jurisdictional risks, domain name disputes, phishing, and IP leakage or enforcement actions. * Analyze AI and IP‑related legal risks arising from commercial engagements and product development; provide clear, practical recommendations to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory and contractual compliance. * Contribute to the development of internal training and awareness materials on AI compliance and intellectual property and support organization‑wide enablement initiatives. **Qualification** : Technical (preferably in electronic/software) background and a LLB with 1 to 3 years’ work experience in corporate environment. **Skillset** : **Professional:** * Strong technical acumen \& understanding of AI technology and software development lifecycle. * Keen interest in emerging technology areas such as AI, IoT, Cloud, Quantum, security etc. is must. * Clear understanding of IP concepts including patents, copyright and trade secret. Practical knowledge of issues such as fair use, derivative works, authorship, infringement, licensing principles, risk scenarios in software industry etc. * Knowledge of opens source license compliance process would be an advantage * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Must be able to demonstrate/show examples of solutions provided to complex techno\- legal issues. **Behavioral** : * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Must have the ability to analyze and apply logical reasoning while addressing issues * Must have good organizational and time management skills * Must have the ability to provide high quality work on a consistent basis * Must have the ability to build collaborative partnerships within different teams, including the ability to network within the organization and outside
