Job Description
Kennedys is seeking an ambitious Associate with 3–5 years' post-qualification experience to join its growing Cyber and Risk team in Dubai.
The Role You Will Work As Part Of a Specialist Team Advising Insurers, Their Insureds And Corporate Clients On Cyber Incidents, Data Breaches And Related Regulatory And Litigation Risks Across The Middle East And Beyond. The Practice Covers
- Incident response and crisis management following ransomware, business email compromise and other cyber events
- Data protection and privacy advice (including UAE PDPL and regional regimes)
- Regulatory notifications and engagement with data protection authorities
- Coverage advice under cyber insurance policies
- Data subject claims and related litigation support
You will work closely with partners and senior colleagues in Dubai and across Kennedys' global cyber network, gaining exposure to high-profile, multi-jurisdictional matters.
The Candidate
- 3–5 years' PQE with demonstrable experience in cyber, data privacy, insurance or commercial litigation
- Strong academic background and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage caseloads, work under pressure and deliver clear, commercial advice
- Ideally qualified in England \& Wales, Australia, or another common-law jurisdiction; UAE experience or willingness to develop regional expertise is an advantage
- Team player with a proactive, client-focused approach
