Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented
Assistant Sales Manager
to support our business development efforts and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, conducting site surveys, preparing proposals, managing client relationships, and assisting in achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads through referrals, networking, digital inquiries, and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and consultations with prospective clients.
- Conduct site surveys
to assess customer requirements, installation feasibility, shading conditions, electrical infrastructure, and gather technical information for system design and proposal preparation.
- Assist customers in understanding solar energy solutions, net metering, system sizing, ROI, and expected energy savings.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and financial analyses to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
- Follow up with prospects and ensure timely conversion of sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, and operations teams for accurate project planning and execution.
- Maintain and update CRM records, sales pipelines, and customer databases.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Support the Sales Manager in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates on business development activities.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum
3 years of sales experience
, preferably in the solar, renewable energy, electrical, or construction industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to conduct site assessments and understand basic electrical and solar concepts.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and build long-term client relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Self-motivated, organized, and target-driven.
- Own conveyance is preferred.
