Assistant Professor/ Teaching in English

**Position:** Assistant Professor in English We are looking for competent teachers of English language to join the Faculty of English at Chanakya University. The ideal candidate would be someone who: * Holds a postgraduate degree in English, specializing in English Language Teaching (ELT), with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point\-scale wherever the grading system is followed). * **1 to 2 years** of experience. * Holds a certification in ELT, such as TESOL, from reputed organizations. * Has experience of teaching common courses in English language and communication to undergraduate and postgraduate students in India. * Is able to independently design and teach courses specific to personal, academic and professional communication in English. * Is able to facilitate the development and enhancement of English language skills in adolescent and adult learners at varied levels of language proficiency. * Is well\-versed in different pedagogical approaches (and methods) to language teaching. * Can independently create and conduct periodic assessments mapped to the course objectives and provide timely feedback to the students. * Can demonstrate their language competence through their work in other fields, as authors, editors, translators, content creators, etc. * Continues to contribute to the discipline of ELT, not only through dissemination of knowledge but also by adding to it, through their research (especially if they hold a doctoral degree). * Will remain dedicated to upholding the standards and practices of Chanakya University.
