Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence/Software Engineering based at the Faisalabad campus. The role involves delivering undergraduate and potentially postgraduate courses, including preparing and updating syllabi, designing assessments, and conducting lectures, labs, tutorials, and seminars. The Assistant Professor will supervise student projects, mentor learners on academic and professional development, and maintain regular office hours for advising. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing course materials, grading assignments and exams, ensuring alignment with partner university standards, and contributing to curriculum enhancement. The role also involves engaging in scholarly activities or applied research, participating in departmental and institutional committees, supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes, and contributing to outreach, events, and industry collaboration initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, with the ability to teach core subjects and advanced topics in relevant specializations.
• Expertise in Programming and Software Engineering practices, including the ability to guide students in coding, software design, and project-based learning.
• Knowledge and teaching capability in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence–related areas (e.g., data analysis, machine learning, intelligent systems) is highly desirable.
• Understanding of Cybersecurity concepts and practices, with the ability to integrate security principles into teaching where relevant.
• Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, learning outcomes, assessments, and using modern pedagogical approaches.
• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a closely related field from a recognized institution (PhD preferred).
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the college or university level, with evidence of effective classroom and lab instruction.
• Ability to use learning management systems and educational technologies to support teaching and student engagement.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills, with a commitment to inclusive and student-centered teaching.
• Willingness to contribute to research, industry linkages, and academic service within the department and
