It is a go\-to gathering place for both locals and visitors, serving breakfast, classic comfort food, and elevated pub favourites, alongside a lively bar program featuring local craft beers, curated wines, and creative cocktails, all brought to life through authentic Whistler hospitality. **THIS IS FOR YOU IF:** * You are a natural leader who inspires trust, consistency, and high performance in your team * You thrive in high\-energy, high\-volume environments and stay calm, focused, and solutions\-oriented under pressure * You are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere * You are operationally strong and commercially aware, balancing guest experience with business performance * You take pride in developing people, coaching, mentoring, and building confident, capable teams * You are adaptable and resilient, embracing the pace and unpredictability of resort hospitality * You lead with presence on the floor, setting the tone for service, culture, and standards every shift **IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL BE:** * Leading daily operations with a strong floor presence and full accountability for guest experience and service standards * Supporting scheduling, training, coaching, and development of team members to drive performance and engagement * Assisting with recruitment and onboarding of top hospitality talent * Monitoring and supporting financial performance, including labour, revenue, and cost control metrics * Overseeing daily inventory management and ensuring operational readiness for each service period * Maintaining compliance with all liquor licensing, health, and safety regulations * Supporting execution of events, promotions, and seasonal programming that drive traffic and guest engagement * Championing a positive, high\-energy workplace culture aligned with hospitality excellence * Working closely with leadership to continuously improve systems, service flow, and guest experience - **EXPERIENCE REQUIRED** * 2\+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience in a high\-volume restaurant, pub, or resort environment * Proven ability to lead teams in fast\-paced, guest\-facing operations * Strong operational understanding including service standards, labour management, and floor execution * Comfort working with financials, KPIs, and operational reporting * Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence teams * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and scheduling/timekeeping software, with a comfort for leveraging technology to optimize operations * Valid Serving It Right \& First Aid Certification * Eligible to work in Canada * Existing housing in Whistler is a bonus; however temporary housing can be arranged **SALARY RANGE** : $65,000 – $70,000 annual salary, based on experience and qualifications **THE BENEFITS** * Grow your career in one of Canada’s most iconic mountain hospitality environments with real advancement opportunities * Enjoy staff perks across food \& beverage, accommodation, adventure activities, and wellness offerings in Whistler * Be part of a tight\-knit, supportive team culture where leadership is present and development is prioritized * Work in a high\-energy, social, and guest\-driven environment steps from Whistler Mountain * Experience a workplace where community, culture, and hospitality come together every day * Access to local partner discounts and staff appreciation events throughout the season * Flexible scheduling within a dynamic, seasonal resort environment * A fun, fast\-paced workplace that values energy, teamwork, and great guest experiences If you’re ready to step into a leadership role at one of Whistler’s most iconic pubs and help shape an unforgettable guest and team experience, we want to hear from you.
