The course focuses on: * Written communication (emails, reports, memos) * Verbal communication (meetings, presentations) * Workplace etiquette and professional language * Listening and comprehension in professional settings **Assessment Responsibilities** The assessor will be responsible for conducting and evaluating: * Practical Assignments (50%)Assess email/report writing tasks * Evaluate presentations and simulated workplace interactions * Written Assessments (20%)Review MCQs, short answers, and scenario\-based responses * Observation \& Participation (10%)Monitor learner engagement, communication skills, and professionalism * Final Project \& Presentation (20%)Evaluate learners’ ability to apply communication skills in a workplace scenario **Key Evaluation Criteria** * Clarity, accuracy, and professionalism in communication * Proper use of workplace language, tone, and etiquette * Ability to adapt communication to different contexts * Confidence and effectiveness in verbal communication **Requirements** * Relevant experience in assessment, teaching, or training in English/Business Communication * Strong understanding of workplace communication standards * Experience with practical and competency\-based assessment methods * Ability to conduct fair, structured, and timely evaluations **Preferred Profile** * Background in English Language, Business Communication, or related field * Prior experience with TVET / competency\-based frameworks * Strong observation and feedback skills **Deliverables** * Completed assessment records * Marking and grading as per provided criteria * Brief feedback on learner performance
