TRUDON, the renowned luxury candlemaker from France, is seeking an **Area Sales Manager** for the South territory to join our North American team. The **Area Sales Manager, South \& Southeast** , will be responsible for driving wholesale growth and expanding TRUDON’s presence across the South \& Southeast states, including Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to own the execution of the regional sales strategy, with a strong focus on opening new wholesale accounts, growing existing partnerships, and achieving revenue and distribution targets. Acting as the primary brand ambassador in the territory, the Area Sales Manager will lead all in\-market sales activities while ensuring alignment with broader North American commercial objectives. Founded in 1643, TRUDON is the oldest continuously operating candlemaker in the world and was formerly the official supplier to the French royal court. Known for exceptional craftsmanship and high\-quality products, TRUDON produces artisanal candles, diffusers, fine fragrances, and body care that are cherished for their captivating scents and exquisite designs. We are committed to preserving the art of candle making while expanding our global presence. **Key Responsibilities:** * Own and drive wholesale sales performance across the South territory (FL, TN, AR, OK, LA, MO, AL, GA, SC, NC) for our brands TRUDON and Carrière Frères, with full responsibility for achieving revenue, distribution, and growth targets. * Proactively identify, prospect, and open new wholesale accounts within independent channels to support expansion of TRUDON’s regional footprint. * Manage, develop, and retain existing wholesale accounts by executing account strategies that maximize sell\-in, sell\-through, and long\-term partnership value. * Lead all regional sales activities including line reviews, assortment planning, order writing, product launches, and in\-store execution to ensure brand standards are met. * Act as the primary point of contact and brand representative for all South wholesale partners, delivering product education, sales presentations, and ongoing commercial support. * Analyze regional performance, market trends, and competitive activity to inform forecasts, territory planning, and growth opportunities. * Maintain disciplined CRM reporting, pipeline management, and sales forecasting to ensure visibility and accountability. * Collaborate closely with internal sales team, marketing, and operations teams to execute regional initiatives and meet wholesale objectives. * Support and oversee department store execution across the South territory (non–sales owning), including regular store visits, visual merchandising standards, re\-merchandising, and coordination of in\-store activations or visual animation weeks. * Travel is expected to be 50% across the South territory to support account development, market visits, trainings, and key industry events. This is a hub\-and\-spoke territory requiring both driving and air travel. From time to time and at its absolute discretion, TRUDON may require you to perform any other reasonable duties which are commensurate with your job title in order to meet its business needs. What We’re Looking For: * Experience in wholesale and B2B sales, preferably in a luxury or retail environment is preferred. * Strong relationship\-building and communication skills with key clients and partners. * Knowledge of the Southeast and/or South Central wholesale market and retail landscape preferred. * Ability to analyze performance and market data to inform strategic decisions. * Self\-motivated and results\-driven with the ability to work independently. * Passion for the luxury fragrance industry and preserving our brand’s heritage. * Ability to travel as needed; valid driver’s license required. Candidate must be based in one of the following states within the territory: Florida, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Missouri, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, or North Carolina.
