Hamdard Pakistan is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager for Lahore to lead a team of 15 sales professionals. This role focuses on driving sales growth, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring comprehensive market coverage within the designated territory. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales strategy development, client relationship management, and team leadership, accompanied by at least seven years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
The Area Sales Manager will play a critical role in achieving the company's monthly and annual sales targets through strategic planning and effective execution of sales initiatives. The position requires leadership in coaching and monitoring Territory Sales Managers to maximize their performance. The individual is also responsible for maintaining product availability, analyzing market trends, and identifying new business opportunities to ensure a competitive edge in the market.
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and monitoring progress.
- Manage and nurture relationships with distributors to ensure smooth supply chain operations and market penetration.
- Lead, coach, and oversee the performance of a team of 15 sales professionals, including Territory Sales Managers.
- Ensure consistent product availability and optimal market coverage across the Lahore territory.
- Monitor competitor activities, analyze market trends, and adapt strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Plan and execute trade marketing and promotional activities to support brand visibility and sales growth.
- Analyze sales data and prepare detailed reports to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
