Legal Experts Contract \| Remote **Pay:** $55 $135 per hour **Time Commitment:** \~15 hours per week **Role Snapshot** Contribute to the development of AI systems by authoring complex legal reasoning problems based on real U.S. court opinions and records. This role involves applying legal judgment to analyze judicial materials and support advanced AI training initiatives. **Core Responsibilities** * Review and annotate U.S. court opinions and legal filings sourced from CourtListener * Author complex legal reasoning problems grounded in real judicial documents * Apply legal judgment to evaluate case outcomes, reasoning quality, and document classification * Ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity across all structured tasks * Follow project guidelines and maintain high\-quality standards * Work independently while meeting weekly deliverables **Ideal Candidate Profile** * 3\+ years of professional legal experience (law firm, in\-house, government, or legal research organization) * J.D., LL.M., or equivalent legal degree from a top U.S. university * Experience with U.S. federal or state court systems * Strong reading comprehension and analysis of legal texts * Ability to complete structured legal tasks with consistency and accuracy * Availability to commit approximately 15 hours per week
