STAR Dyes is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Officer with a minimum of one year of experience to join our finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining precise financial records and ensuring the smooth execution of daily accounting operations. This role requires a clear understanding of financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, and proficiency with accounting software and invoicing systems. Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts ensuring all entries are complete and correct.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Perform invoicing and billing tasks using designated accounting software and invoicing systems.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with clients or vendors to ensure timely payments.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with company accounting standards.
- Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Maintain filing systems for accounting documents, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices, payments, or financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously update knowledge of accounting software features and upgrade processes when necessary.
