We’re Hiring: Accounts Executive

Location: Sundar Industrial Estate, Lahore
Sehat Medical Devices (Pvt.) Ltd. is looking for an
Accounts Executive
to support the company’s day-to-day accounting, financial recording, reconciliations and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions accurately in the company’s accounting/ERP system.
- Prepare and post payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, journal vouchers and bank transactions.
- Maintain general ledger, customer ledgers and supplier ledgers.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable and maintain aging schedules.
- Follow up on customer receivables and maintain proper records of collections and outstanding balances.
- Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders, GRNs and supporting documents before processing payments.
- Maintain records of advances to suppliers, employees and other parties and ensure timely adjustment.
- Assist in monthly closing of accounts and preparation of management reports.
- Reconcile sales, purchases, inventory movements and other accounting records with the ERP.
- Assist in preparation of profit \& loss statements, balance sheets, cash-flow reports and expense analyses.
- Maintain fixed asset records and assist with depreciation schedules.
- Support inventory accounting, production-related entries and reconciliation of raw material and finished goods records.
- Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Assist the Taxation Manager with Sales Tax, Income Tax, withholding tax and other statutory documentation.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, vouchers, bank statements and accounting records.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Sales and Production departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Identify unusual transactions, unreconciled balances and accounting errors and report them promptly.
- Perform any other finance and accounting assignments assigned by management.
Qualification \& Experience
- B.Com, BBA Finance, BS Accounting \& Finance, M.Com, ACCA / CA Foundation or equivalent qualification.
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing organization.
- Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with an ERP or accounting software is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, inventory accounting or cost accounting will be an advantage.
Skills Required
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- High level of accuracy and attention to documentation.
- Ability to investigate and resolve ledger differences independently.
- Ability to work with multiple departments and meet monthly closing deadlines.
- Strong command of Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and reconciliation worksheets.
