Accounting Manager

**Key Responsibilities** * **Financial Reporting:** Lead the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. * **Closing Procedures:** Manage the month\-end and year\-end close cycles, including the review of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations (Bank, Intercompany, Fixed Assets). * **Audit \& Compliance:** Act as the primary liaison for external auditors. Ensure all documentation and work papers are audit\-ready and manage the implementation of internal controls (SOX where applicable). * **Tax \& Treasury:** Oversee tax compliance filings (VAT/GST/Sales Tax) and manage cash flow forecasting and banking relationships. * **Process Improvement:** Identify and implement efficiencies in the accounting workflow, specifically focusing on ERP optimization and the automation of manual tasks. * **Team Leadership:** Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and AP/AR clerks to ensure professional development and high\-quality output. * **Budgeting \& Analysis:** Collaborate with the FP\&A team to provide variance analysis (Actuals vs. Budget) and support departmental heads with financial insights. **Required Qualifications** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
