Accounting Manager

**Company Description** Bestfolio Consulting specializes in tax, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and financial consulting services across the Middle East. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager who can independently manage end\-to\-end accounting functions (A to Z) across multiple entities and ensure full compliance with UAE regulations. **Role Description** This is a full\-time, on\-site role based in Dubai for an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, manage journal entries, and ensure the accuracy of accounting records as follows: \* Manage full\-cycle accounting for the company and client portfolios, including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and bank reconciliations \* Oversee month\-end and year\-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness \* Prepare financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) \* Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and handle VAT filings via the Federal Tax Authority (UAE) portal \* Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting \* Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities \* Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies \* Handle multi\-company / multi\-client accounting environments typical of consulting firms \* Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management \* Lead, supervise, and mentor junior accounting staff **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is strongly preferred * 5–8\+ years of relevant experience, preferably within UAE and consulting/professional services firms * Expertise in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and reports * Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights * Proficiency in Journal Entries and practical experience with accounting processes * Knowledge of Finance and the ability to manage budgeting and forecasting * Experience in Fixed Assets management and reporting * Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT laws * Proven experience managing full accounting cycles independently * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills * Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities * High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines **Preferred Qualifications** \* Experience handling audits and VAT audits in the UAE \* Familiarity with corporate tax regulations in the UAE \* Experience managing multiple entities or client accounts simultaneously
