Accounting Associate (Nordic \& Baltics)
Role: Full-time, permanent
Location: Stockholm, Sweden

The Role
Supports timely month-end closing activities and manages AP/AR responsibilities, including the creation and maintenance of purchase orders (POs). Serves as a backup to the Senior Accountant and contributes to SAP initiatives across the NB8 region, focusing on finance process improvements and system enhancements.
- Perform daily accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
- Support timely month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions, including invoice processing, payment runs, and customer billing.
- Assist with cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, and treasury-related tasks.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and support depreciation calculations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during audits, providing required documentation and explanations.
- Support tax filings, VAT reporting, and other statutory submissions as required.
- Manage monthly expense reporting and reconciliation through Concur (SAP), ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Handle ad hoc financial tasks and participate in cross-functional projects as needed.
The Person
- Professional fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in financial accounting, AP / AR, including working in a cross functional environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP, particularly in finance-related modules.
- Audit experience would be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
