Verita AI is a seed\-stage company valued at $25 million, having raised $6 million led by Kindred Ventures.** **Brief Description** We’re hiring **Financial Accounting Specialists** to help train and evaluate AI systems on real\-world accounting workflows. You will translate accounting knowledge into structured tasks and evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and completeness. **What You’ll Do** * Review AI\-generated accounting work for correctness * Translate workflows into structured tasks * Analyze financial statements, reconciliations, and entries * Provide feedback to improve AI outputs * Document accounting logic and decisions clearly **Domain Focus** * Month\-end and year\-end close * Journal entries, accruals, reconciliations * Financial reporting and compliance * GAAP / IFRS * Audit and internal controls **Requirements** * 5–8\+ years in accounting, audit, or financial ops * Strong GAAP knowledge * ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.) * CPA preferred but not required **You May Be a Good Fit If** * You’ve owned or contributed to close processes * You care about accuracy and precision * You’re comfortable with edge cases and judgment calls
