Our client Altek International Pakistan Pvt Limited is looking for a Accountant in Lahore

Altek International Pakistan Pvt Limited is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with a strong background in financial management and accounting. This remote position requires a professional with at least six years of experience in the accounting field, holding a relevant degree such as B. Com, BBA, MBA, or M. Com. The role focuses on maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing detailed financial reports, and supporting crucial month-end and year-end closing processes. Collaborating with finance teams across different countries to ensure compliance and timely completion of tasks is a key aspect of the position.

The ideal candidate must have proficiency in various accounting software and ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, possess strong skills in tax compliance, audit preparation, and financial analysis. They will be responsible for conducting account reconciliations, inventory analysis, and variance investigations, as well as preparing Management Information System (MIS) reports for management review. Although this role does not involve team management, the candidate should be capable of working independently and supporting process improvements within the accounting department.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
  • Perform receivable follow-up and closely monitor customer collections to ensure timely payments.
  • Conduct inventory analysis, perform reconciliations, and investigate variances to maintain data integrity.
  • Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and financial analyses to aid management decision-making.
  • Coordinate and support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Review transactions within ERP systems and assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with finance teams across multiple countries to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned financial tasks.
  • Assist with internal audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure adherence to tax compliance requirements and assist in the preparation for external audits.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls within the accounting processes.
