**Title:** Financial Accounting Specialist – AI Model Evaluation **Pay Rate:** $100/hr **Hours:** 20–40/week, flexible schedule (Pick your own hours!) **Location:** Remote **Summary** We are seeking experienced Financial Accounting Specialists to support the development and evaluation of AI systems focused on real\-world accounting workflows. In this role, you will apply your accounting expertise to review AI\-generated outputs, translate complex financial processes into structured tasks, and ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness. This is a unique opportunity to combine deep accounting knowledge with emerging technology, working on high\-impact initiatives that improve how financial workflows are understood and executed at scale. The ideal candidate is detail\-oriented, analytical, and comfortable navigating complex scenarios and judgment\-based decisions. **What You’ll Do** * Review AI\-generated accounting work for accuracy, compliance, and completeness * Translate real\-world accounting workflows into structured tasks and logic * Analyze financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation * Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve AI outputs * Document accounting logic, assumptions, and decision\-making processes * Support ongoing improvements to AI models through iterative evaluation **Domain Exposure May Include** * Month\-end and year\-end close processes * Journal entries, accruals, and adjustments * Financial statement preparation and review * Account reconciliations and variance analysis * GAAP / IFRS compliance and audit support * Tax, regulatory filings, and multi\-jurisdictional considerations **What You Bring** * 5–8\+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial operations * Strong knowledge of GAAP (IFRS familiarity a plus) * Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with high attention to detail * Ability to interpret complex financial scenarios and apply sound judgment * Strong written communication skills with ability to clearly document processes and decisions **Bonus Points If You Have** * CPA or equivalent certification * Experience owning or contributing to month\-end or year\-end close processes * Experience working with complex or edge\-case accounting scenarios * Exposure to audit, internal controls, or compliance environments * Interest in AI, data systems, or emerging technologies *TCWGlobal is an equal opportunity employer.
