**About the Role:**
We are looking for a skilled and dependable
**Accountant Officer**
to join our Accounts \& Finance team. The ideal candidate should have a solid accounting background with at least
**3 years of professional experience**

such as finance or distribution. This role combines traditional accounting responsibilities with

As an Accountant Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day\-to\-day operation of our accounting functions — from recording transactions to reconciling financial data and supporting monthly closings. Accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality will be key.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Accurately record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and other business activities
* Perform high\-volume
**data entry in accounting software and Excel spreadsheets**
with precision
* Maintain and update
**general ledgers**
,
**journals**
,
**vouchers**
, and supporting documentation
* Prepare, review, and process invoices, vendor bills, credit notes, and receipts
* Perform monthly
**bank reconciliations**
and assist with account reconciliations
* Maintain up\-to\-date records of accounts payable and receivable
* Assist in the preparation of
**monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports**
* **Support the senior accountant or head of accounts in budgeting and forecasting tasks**
* **Ensure all financial data complies with internal policies and regulatory standards**
* **Organize documents and records in preparation for audits and internal reviews**
* **Generate periodic reports in Excel using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and basic formulas**
* **Maintain high levels of confidentiality regarding financial records and company data**
**Required Qualifications:**
* **Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce**
from a recognized institution
* Minimum
**3 years of relevant experience**
in accounting and financial record\-keeping
* Strong command over
**MS Excel**
– including formulas, sorting, filtering, data validation
* Proficient in
**QuickBooks**
or similar accounting software (Sage, Tally, ERP systems)
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger systems
* Experience in data entry with excellent speed and accuracy
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly
* Familiarity with local
**tax regulations, invoicing requirements, and compliance standards**
(preferred but not mandatory)
