We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

Odoo ERP

, financial accounting, management accounting, financial reporting, project-wise reporting, and month-end/year-end closing. Experience with

Xero

will be an advantage. The successful candidate should be capable of independently managing the full accounting cycle, preparing management reports, analysing project profitability, and supporting business decision-making through accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank, credit card, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
• Process journals, accruals, prepayments, and month-end adjustments.
• Complete monthly and yearly financial closing activities.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, and financial reports.
• Prepare

project-wise profitability reports

, cost analysis, and business performance reports.

• Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability across multiple projects.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal financial controls.
• Manage accounting operations within

Odoo ERP

, including financial accounting, management accounting, project accounting, reporting, and period-end closing.

• Support ERP implementation, process improvements, and finance automation.
• Assist with internal and external audits.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 5-6

years

of accounting experience. *

Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Mandatory).

• Experience using Odoo Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Reporting, Project Accounting, and Month-End Closing.
• Experience preparing management accounts, financial statements, financial reports, and project-wise business reports.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, cost control, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience with Xero is an advantage but not mandatory.
