1\. About Our Client: The organization operates in the clean energy sector, focusing on developing, owning, and operating large\-scale energy resources. It addresses the challenge of delivering affordable and reliable renewable power to utilities and customers. Currently in a rapid growth phase, the organization manages significant solar PV and battery storage capacity with additional projects under development. As a profitable and well\-capitalized independent power producer, it has delivered substantial industrial\-scale clean energy infrastructure. The organization was formed as a spin\-out following an acquisition by a major technology company and is supported by established climate\-focused investors. 2\. About the Opportunity: The Accountant will play a key role in supporting the monthly accounting close process and maintaining accurate financial records. This position ensures the integrity of balance sheets, prepares journal entries, and supports financial reporting and internal controls. The role contributes to the corporate finance team’s ability to manage operational assets effectively, supporting decision\-making through accurate and timely accounting processes. 3\. Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly journal entries by collecting data, analyzing costs, and documenting support • Reconcile and maintain various balance sheet accounts with proper documentation • Perform account analyses to verify accuracy of balances and entries • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports • Maintain internal controls to protect assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards • Support accounts payable with invoice coding and queries • Assist the settlements team regularly • Collaborate with development, construction, asset management, and treasury teams for accounting support • Participate in ad\-hoc projects within the accounting department 4\. Requirements: • 2\-4 years of relevant accounting experience, including operational assets • Understanding of accounting principles and internal controls • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work remotely • Experience with or knowledge of Sage Intacct preferred • Proficient in Excel for data analysis and summarization • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills • Analytical and problem\-solving abilities • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Proficient in accounting software and Google applications • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast\-paced environment • CPA, near completion of CPA, or a Master’s Degree in Accounting is a bonus 5\. Pay Range and Compensation Package: • Compensation: USD 108,000 to 118,000 total, including base salary and bonus 6\.
