Job Title **: Accounting Supervisor** Location: **India** Workplace Type: **Remote** **Job Summary** The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we’d love for you to be a part of it as our **Accountant.** Porch’s goal is to be the partner that makes home ownership simple and convenient. As part of the Finance and Accounting shared services team, this role supports accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable accounting processes. The Accountant will work closely with cross\-functional and U.S.\-based teams while supporting month\-end, quarter\-end, and audit activities as Porch continues to grow its operations. **What You Will Do As An Accountant** * Perform professional accounting activities related to general accounting independently * Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts and research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner * Prepare and process accounting journal entries within established deadlines * Prepare flux analysis and commentary for income statement and balance sheet accounts * Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial data * Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting activities * Partner with internal teams to maintain accounting processes and internal controls * Support management with ad hoc accounting and reporting requests * Participate in annual, quarterly, and monthly SOX and internal audit processes * Ensure compliance with internal policies, relevant regulations, and accounting principles **What You Will Bring As An Accountant** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting * Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) * Prior experience with NetSuite and FloQast is a plus * Knowledge of Fixed Assets, Cash, Accruals, Lease Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Intercompany Accounting, Prepaids, Capitalized Software, and Debt accounting * Proven experience working with US based business teams * Excellent written and communication skills in English language * Working Hours: 8 Hours (Excluding breaks) 4 Core US Hours Overlap (7:30pm–11:30pm IST) 4 flexible hours (IST) * Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download \| 10 Mbps upload The application window for this position is anticipated to close in 2 weeks (10 business days) from **24 April 2026** .
