(a Company owned by Petwin Bancorp Inc.) **Location:** 30 Burks Way, Navin, MB R5T 0C9 **Reports To:** CEO, AGM Glass Fabricators Inc.   **Job Summary** We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Accountant to join our team at AGM Glass Fabricators. This entry\-level role, covering a maternity leave, is ideal for someone looking to gain hands\-on experience in a manufacturing environment. The Accountant will support day\-to\-day financial operations, assist with reporting, and help ensure accurate record\-keeping. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist with maintaining financial records, including data entry and journal entries * Lead the payroll, accounts payable and receivable processes (invoicing, payment processing, and collections follow\-up) * Perform basic reconciliations (bank accounts, credit cards, vendor statements, etc.) * Assist with month\-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports * Help track and record production costs, including materials and labor * Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems * Ensure tax payments/filings are prepared and completed on time (GST/HST, PST, payroll remittances, IFTA, HELevy) * Perform administrative and ad hoc finance tasks as needed **Qualifications** * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress) * 0–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience * Basic understanding of accounting principles * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Sage accounting software is an asset * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn * Good organizational and time management skills * Effective communication and teamwork abilities **Key Competencies** * Eagerness to learn and develop accounting skills * Accuracy and attention to detail * Dependability and accountability * Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong ethics * Positive attitude and adaptability * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines **Working Conditions** * Primarily office\-based with occasional exposure to the production floor * Standard business hours with some flexibility during peak periods **Why Join Us** * Great entry point into accounting within a manufacturing setting * On\-the\-job training and mentorship opportunities * Supportive and collaborative team environment * Competitive wages and an excellent benefit package **To Apply:** Please submit your resume and cover letter to marty@agm\-inc.com or apply directly within LinkedIn
