Olympia Tile\+Stone is the largest importer of tile in Canada and a key supplier in the United States. **What You’ll Do** As an Accountant, you play a key role in supporting the financial accuracy and operational efficiency of the organization. Working closely with the Financial Controller and broader finance team, you will gain hands\-on exposure to the full accounting cycle within a fast\-paced, multi\-currency and multi\-province environment. Your work directly supports accurate reporting, operational decision\-making, and the overall financial health of the business. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is comfortable working with numbers, eager to learn, and looking to grow their skills under experienced mentorship in a collaborative environment. **Key Responsibilities:** The Accountant is responsible for owning Olympia’s marketing vision, brand identity, and campaign strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives while driving awareness, engagement, and growth. This role operates across both strategic leadership and hands\-on execution, balancing long\-term planning with day\-to\-day involvement in key initiatives. You will: * Perform reconciliations for accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany accounts, prepaids, accruals, and bank accounts * Process vendor payments and wire transfers in CAD, USD, and EUR * Maintain fixed asset schedules and assist with sales tax filings and statutory reporting requirements * Generate sales and commission reports using data extracted from the ERP system * Support the year\-end audit process by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests * Provide backup support for payroll uploads and bank transfers when required * Build and maintain Excel models and reports that transform raw data into meaningful business insights * Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency **What You Bring** * You bring 2–3 years of accounting experience with exposure to the full accounting cycle * College diploma or university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline * Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formula building, and working with large data sets * High attention to detail with a strong habit of reviewing and validating your own work for accuracy * Experience working with ERP systems; Prophet 21 (P21\) by Epicor is a strong asset, and willingness to learn it is essential * Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams * A learning mindset — you ask thoughtful questions, accept feedback well, and are eager to continue developing your skills * Experience working in a distribution, wholesale, or multi\-location business environment is considered an asset * CPA in progress or a strong interest in pursuing the designation is considered an asset **What We Offer** * Competitive salary * Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, and more). * Paid vacation and holidays. * Participation in the Company’s RRSP and Pension programs. * A chance to grow alongside a high\-impact team in an established, respected organization. - **How to Apply** If you’re a detail\-oriented accounting professional looking to grow your career with a well\-established organization, we want to hear from you.
