Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, full-time
Accountant
to manage our day-to-day financial operations and ensure strict regulatory compliance. You will handle everything from core bookkeeping to strategic financial reporting, working closely with our legal and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Core Accounting:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, general ledgers, bank reconciliations, and AR/AP tracking.
- Budgeting \& Cash Flow:
Lead
annual budgeting
processes, monitor cash flow, and implement cost-control measures.
- Tax \& Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with
UAE VAT regulations
, including accurate filing and reporting, alongside local financial laws.
- Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and invoices.
Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (ACCA, CPA, or CMA is a major plus).
- Experience:
At least 5 years of proven accounting experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (pivot tables, financial analysis).
- Tax Expertise:
Strong working knowledge of
UAE VAT
and local tax regulations.
- Soft Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and professional communication.
