Accountant

We’re hiring a Qualified Accountant to join our growing practice at MK Bookkeeping \& Accountancy. This is a great opportunity for someone experienced who can hit the ground running, working on limited company accounts and supporting a busy practice. **Key Responsibilities:** * Preparation and finalisation of limited company accounts * Reviewing financial data prepared by bookkeepers * Supporting the practice with technical accounting matters * Liaising with the principal accountant and wider team * Ensuring deadlines and reporting standards are consistently met * Quarterly MTD filing for income tax **Requirements:** * Fully qualified accountant * Proven experience in accountancy firm and understanding their reporting requirements * Knowedge of BTC software (Desirable) * Solid knowledge of UK accounting standards and regulatory compliance * Ability to work independently * Comfortable working within an established small practice environment * Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy * Good communication skills for liaising with internal team and clients **What We Offer:** • Competitive day rate • Flexible, part\-time hours • Fully remote working This is an ideal role for someone looking for flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful client work within a supportive, experienced team.
