Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in New Delhi. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording journal entries, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank statements, and processing accounts payable and receivable. The role involves preparing invoices, tracking payments, handling expense reports, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accountant will support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and tax-related documentation in compliance with applicable regulations. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, improving accounting processes, and ensuring accurate, timely financial data to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, and financial data analysis.
• Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other relevant tax and compliance requirements.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow tracking.
• Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with a focus on process improvement and internal controls.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
• Prior experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role, preferably in a product or technology-driven organization.
