The Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Accountant
to join our team in Dubai.
As part of our regional finance team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial administration of our UAE entity while working closely with and reporting into the Finance Department at our headquarters in Breda, The Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting and bookkeeping activities for the UAE office.
- Record transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare invoices and employee expense claims.
- Support VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
- Reconcile accounts and financial discrepancies.
- Assist with audits and internal financial reviews.
- Prepare financial reports and other finance-related documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
- Experience with Tally and/or ERP systems.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English.
