The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, payroll, financial reporting, and student financial management, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all areas. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the continued success and growth of Excel Career College. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). * Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in an educational or multi\-campus environment. * Strong understanding of payroll processing, financial reporting, and financial management systems. * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external vendors. **Key Responsibilities** **Financial Operations Management:** * Plan, organise, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of the accounting and financial departments. * Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. * Serve as the primary contact for financial and payroll\-related matters, liaising with third\-party vendors as needed. **Payroll Management:** * Organize and collect employee information and hours for bi\-monthly payroll processing. * Process Records of Employment (ROEs) and manage all payroll\-related processes. * Handle leave and benefits processing related to payroll and ensure proper record\-keeping and filing. * Ensure that payroll records for new hires, absences, and terminations are updated in the system and filed accurately. * Regularly update the payroll system and employee database to ensure accuracy. **Human Resources Support:** * Assist in collecting and filing payroll, time\-off, and benefits\-related HR documents for employees, ensuring compliance with company policies. * Provide necessary payroll, vendor, or payment information to support HR decisions. **Financial Reporting:** * Prepare or coordinate the preparation of financial statements, summaries, cost\-benefit analyses, and financial management reports. * Evaluate financial reporting systems and accounting procedures, making recommendations for improvements to senior management. - **Trend Analysis:** * Report to senior management concerning any critical financial trends impacting the organisation’s performance. **Student Financial Management:** * Create payment schedules for students and ensure timely payment collections. * Plan and prepare student T2 tax forms accurately and efficiently. **Other Financial Activities:** * Assist with tax processing and other annual financial activities to ensure compliance and accuracy. * Conduct daily campus financial activities, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately. * Process reconciliations and other financial tasks as required. **How to Apply** If you meet the qualifications and are passionate about contributing to the success of our college, we encourage you to apply.
