Job Description
A reputable and well\-established **Medical Device** company is actively recruiting an **Accountant** for their team in **Dubai.** ***Please note that you must meet all the criteria set out below for your application to be considered. If you are not contacted by us within that time, please consider your application unsuccessful on this occasion.*** **The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:** * Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation. * Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. * Prepare and review vendor payments, invoices, and reconciliations. * Perform bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations. * Assist with month\-end and year\-end closing activities. * Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. * Support financial reporting and management reporting requirements. * Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. * Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns and maintain supporting documentation. * Coordinate with auditors and provide required schedules and reports. * Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities. * Maintain vendor master data and support procurement\-related accounting processes. **To be successful you will need to meet the following:** * **Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.** * **3\+ years of accounting experience.** * Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. * **Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.** * **Working knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.** * **Must have experience working in a B2B business environment, preferably within a multinational company.** * Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, etc. * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. * **Applicants should be available for face\-to\-face interviews in the location mentioned above.** ***\*\*\*We check all applications and suitable candidates will be contacted within 5 working days.
