Accountant

**Company Description** We are hiring on behalf of our client, a manufacturing company based in **Umm Al Quwain** , for the position of Accountant. **Role Description** This is a full\-time, on\-site role for an Accountant based in Umm Al Quwain. The role will primarily focus on **day\-to\-day accounting operations and financial closing activities** . Key responsibilities include maintaining accounting records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, performing bank reconciliations, and assisting in **monthly and year\-end financial closing** . The role also involves supporting audit requirements and ensuring proper documentation and accuracy in financial reporting. **Qualifications** * Strong understanding of accounting principles and **financial closing processes** * Hands\-on experience with **Tally (Tally ERP / Tally Prime)** * Experience in accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations * Knowledge of **month\-end and year\-end closing procedures** * Prior experience in a **manufacturing / production industry** is preferred * Basic understanding of UAE VAT compliance * Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems * Good organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
