Accountant

**12 month contract to FTE** **Hybrid 2\-3x per week in Toronto** **Pay: $30\-40/hr** **Required Skills \& Experience** \- 3\-5 years of experience as an Accountant or Financial Analyst \- CPA designation or working toward it \- Audit/accounting/controllership experience \- Strong Excel \- VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables etc \- Amazing communication skills and be comfortable presenting in front of executives **Nice to Have Skills \& Experience** \- Big 4 accounting experience \- Banking experience \- Financial software (e.g., SAP S/4 Hana, Oracle, Power BI, Microsoft Suite). **Job Description** We’re seeking a detail oriented Accountant who thrives in day to day reporting, processing, and independent work. This role supports the Senior Manager, Finance and accounting within Capital Markets Controllership and collaborates across the finance team to deliver accurate reports, analyses, and insights. Ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, exposure to big data/analytics tools, and experience in banking/financial services. *We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.*
