Accountant

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations, supporting financial reporting, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. This role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Key Responsibilitie

• sMaintain intercompany reconciliation records and resolve reconciliation difference
• sMaintain related-party balances, schedules, confirmations, and resolve outstanding difference
• sRecord and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting record
• sProcess vendor invoices and payment requests after verifying supporting documentation and approval
• sPrepare financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit \& Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statemen
• tReconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other financial record
• sMaintain books of accounts for multiple legal entitie
• sPrepare trial balances and support month-end and year-end financial clos
• eEnsure timely compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including VAT return preparation and filin
• gInitiate vendor payments with appropriate approvals and supporting documentatio
• nManage petty cash, ensuring accurate documentation and authorizatio
• nCoordinate with subsidiaries to reconcile and eliminate intercompany balance
• sRespond to parent company queries relating to intercompany transaction
• sAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activitie
• sAnalyze financial data and provide meaningful insights to managemen
• tSupport internal and external audits by preparing schedules and required documentatio
• nEnsure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and applicable tax regulation
• sIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficienc
