Accountant II

**Title:** Accountant II **Industry:** Entertainment **Location:** Los Angeles, CA **Duration:** 5 months **Responsibilities** * Complete financial month\-end and quarter\-end close processes, including revenue recognition. * Create and post journal entries into the General Ledger. * Analyze and report on content licensing agreements, including interpreting license fee calculations. * Perform quarterly Bad Debt Analysis and monthly Clearing Account reconciliations. * Support internal and external audits, including compliance and statutory audits. **Requirements** * BA/BS Degree in Finance or Accounting. * 3–6 years of experience in a similar accounting role. * Strong experience with general ledger reconciliations and knowledge of GAAP. * CPA preferred and experience in studio or media accounting strongly preferred. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. **Skills** * Accounting * General Ledger * Financial Analysis * Revenue Recognition * GAAP * Excel * Licensing Agreements * Audit Support * Reconciliation * Problem\-Solving Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by WorkGenius. ref\_id: 823d1605\-8540\-4812\-9bdf\-eab3dae778c1
