* **Title:** Accountant II * **Employment Type:** Full\-Time (Contingent / W\-2\) * **Location:** Menlo Park, CA, USA (Onsite) * **Compensation:** $35 – $45 per hour * **Location Requirement:** United States **Role Overview** We are seeking an Accountant II (Infrastructure Accounting Analyst) to support financial management and accounting processes related to a prestigious technology company’s global infrastructure investments. This role partners closely with Infrastructure Supply Chain teams to manage end\-to\-end accounting processes, operationalize new accounting programs, and ensure accurate financial reporting in a fast\-scaling environment. This is a structured, full\-time contingent role — not freelance or project\-based. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements related to infrastructure assets (data centers, network equipment, real estate) * Support end\-to\-end accounting processes and operationalize new accounting programs * Assist with month\-end and quarter\-end close activities, including: * Journal entries * Reconciliations * Cash flow reporting * Variance analysis * Maintain dashboards and reporting to monitor infrastructure spend and capital project progress * Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and data accuracy * Support implementation and documentation of internal controls related to infrastructure accounting * Assist with audit and compliance activities **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 2\+ years of accounting experience (fixed assets experience preferred) * Strong understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS * Advanced Excel skills * Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Financials and Hyperion Essbase * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills **Employment Structure** This role is employed by Cincinnatus, an enterprise staffing company that partners with leading technology companies to source and employ highly skilled professionals for full\-time and long\-term contingent roles.
