As our firm continues to grow, we are looking to welcome an Accountant who shares our values and wants to be part of our journey. **Job Role** This is an Accountant role and is intentionally broad. We welcome applications from those stepping up from an accounts assistant or junior role, as well as more experienced accountants looking for a supportive and values driven practice. The role will involve a varied and interesting workload including the usual responsibilities of preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, preparing and reviewing VAT returns, management accounts, corporation tax and personal tax returns, and day to day client communication and queries. You will also work with a range of cloud based accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent and Sage. **Who We Are Looking For** While technical skills are important, they are not our first priority. Experience within a UK accountancy practice would be beneficial, but we are open on experience level. We are happy to support and train the right person where there are gaps. Training, Development and Progression We are serious about developing our people. As part of our ongoing growth, we offer full study support, including fully funded professional qualifications, structured training, and additional study leave for exams. Where experience is limited, we plan for training and progression to ensure everyone has the opportunity to succeed and develop their career. **Working Environment** This is primarily an office based role in our Farnworth office, as collaboration and team support are central to how we work.
