Accountant

ACCOUNTANT – UAE

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 6,500 – 7,500 per month

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our trading and distribution business.

This position is best suited for candidates with 5+ years of UAE accounting experience who are looking to take ownership of a complete accounting function within a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Trial Balance, Profit \& Loss Statements, and Balance Sheets
• Complete monthly and annual financial closing within established timelines
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Record and reconcile petty cash and main cash transactions
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with FTA requirements
• Verify LPOs prior to issuance
• Prepare commercial invoices and financial reports
• Coordinate customer collections and monitor receivables
• Work closely with the warehouse team on inventory reconciliation and stock adjustments
• Support management reporting and profitability analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Strong understanding of VAT regulations and Corporate Tax requirements
• Experience using TallyPrime
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in a trading, distribution, or inventory-based business is preferred
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability

Key Performance Indicators

• Monthly closing completed within 5 working days
• Accurate and timely bank reconciliations
• Full VAT compliance
• Collection efficiency of 95% or higher
