Accountant Location Toronto, ON Onsite Flexibility Hybrid – 4 days in office Monday to Thursday Contract Details **Position Type:** Contract **Contract Duration:** 6 months **Start:** ASAP **Pay Rate:** C$28\.00–33\.00 / Hour (USD) **Shift / Schedule:** Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM **Work Authorization:** Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in Canada. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Job Summary This position provides volume support through day\-to\-day operational assistance in a call center environment. The role offers a collaborative, supportive team culture with growth opportunities. Full week of training is provided with ongoing support. A 20\-member team works together in a close\-knit environment. Key Responsibilities * Conduct outbound calls to financial institutions and update internal systems * Execute timely and accurate follow\-up of client transfers from other financial institutions into Wealth (approximately 80% of role functions) * Perform data entry functions, including updating in\-house systems, working with ISM, Kofax (Imaging system), and in\-house Case Management software (approximately 20% of role functions) * Attend daily 15\-minute huddle meetings * Interact with external clients and financial institutions * Work with customer data as part of day\-to\-day responsibilities Required Skills * Operations experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills for updating tickets and carrying out data entry duties * Professional and interpersonal skills for making phone calls (phone experience is a strong must\-have skill required for the role) * Attention to detail * Multi\-tasking skills * High technical aptitude * Strong Excel proficiency with good understanding of using Excel spreadsheets (will be using spreadsheets with macros; must have strong technical skills to pick up learning macros during training) Preferred Skills * Call center experience * Previous Wealth experience * Previous experience with ISM, EIS, Ticketing * Banking experience * Bilingual – French and English * Experience with macros Education Requirements * Recent graduate preferred Work Environment / Physical Requirements * Call center environment with outbound calling functions * Access to customer data required * No overtime expected * No rotation schedule * No additional furlough expected About the Client Top 10 bank in Canada and North America offering comprehensive financial solutions.
