Accountant

BookBI is growing — and we’re looking for an **Accountant** who understands not just numbers, but how modern businesses operate. We’re building an AI\-powered accounting solution designed for founders and SMEs. Now we need a professional who can bring real\-world accounting expertise into a fast\-moving product environment. **What you’ll do** * Manage day\-to\-day accounting operations * Record and reconcile financial transactions * Prepare financial reports and statements * Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and tax requirements * Support invoice and expense workflows within BookBI * Collaborate with product and marketing teams to improve accounting logic inside the app **What we’re looking for** * 2\+ years of accounting experience * Strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting * Experience with UAE accounting standards (VAT is a plus) * Attention to detail and structured thinking * Comfortable working with digital tools / accounting software * English — professional level **Nice to have** * Experience working with startups or SaaS products * Interest in AI / automation in finance * Ability to think beyond routine accounting and contribute to product improvement **What you’ll get** * Work with a fast\-growing AI product * Flexible / remote\-friendly setup * Direct impact on how accounting is built inside the platform * A team that values speed, clarity, and smart execution
