**Job Description:**
The Accountant III – Operational Officer will provide day\-to\-day operational and transaction support within a fast\-paced, data and technology\-driven environment. This role focuses on executing financial and operational transactions accurately, meeting service level agreements, and supporting internal partners while adhering to regulatory, compliance, and data privacy standards. The position offers exposure to a large team environment with opportunities for growth, process improvement, and skill development.
**Responsibilities:**
• Execute operational and financial transactions accurately, on time, and in accordance with established guidelines and SLAs
• Review, validate, and process transactions using a combination of manual and automated systems
• Identify, investigate, and escalate processing issues, non\-standard items, or potential risks as required
• Support internal partners by responding to inquiries and resolving operational concerns in a timely manner
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and vendors
• Ensure strict adherence to data privacy, confidentiality, and internal control requirements
• Monitor workload to meet productivity and service quality standards
• Participate in daily team huddles and ongoing communication to ensure alignment and issue resolution
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and enterprise frameworks such as AML and business continuity
• Actively participate as a team member, supporting a collaborative, inclusive, and professional work environment
**Experience:**
• 2–3 years of experience in an operational, accounting, or financial services environment
• Prior experience supporting day\-to\-day operational processes and transaction processing
• Exposure to banking or financial services operations is preferred
• Experience working in a team\-based, SLA\-driven environment
**Skillsets:**
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time\-management skills
• Leadership qualities with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel
• Experience with collaboration and documentation tools such as SharePoint and Confluence
• Strong understanding of data privacy and confidentiality requirements
• Professional demeanor with a customer\-focused mindset
• Nice to have: Knowledge of compliance, KYC, and transaction/transfer processing
**Education:**
• Post\-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred
