Location: Lahore (On-site)
Timing: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (Monday–Saturday)

We’re looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Academic Head
who can lead our content department — ensuring that our books meet the highest standards in curriculum, design, and creativity for early years and primary education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content \& Curriculum Supervision:
- Oversee book development from
initial concept to final print
, ensuring academic accuracy, age-appropriateness, and engagement
- Ensure content is strictly aligned with
Single National Curriculum (SNC)
,
ECCE framework
, and
Montessori philosophy
- Must have complete understanding of curriculum development
, including learning outcomes, learning domains, activity design, and assessment structure
- Should possess sound knowledge of
21st-century skills
, including critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication — and how to embed these into early years \& primary curriculum
- Familiarity with
STEM concepts
(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and how to integrate them into early learning content is essential
- Lead
content R\&D
initiatives based on academic trends, competitor analysis, and feedback from educators
2. Writers \& Editorial Team Management:
- Hire, train, and manage writers, proofreaders, and editors
- Assign tasks, review drafts, and provide academic direction
- Ensure delivery timelines and content quality are strictly followed
3. Design \& Illustration Oversight:
- Coordinate with designers for page layout, font, book theme \& colors
- Work with illustrators to plan age-appropriate visuals and storyboards
- Finalize covers, inside pages, icons, and activity illustrations
- Ensure
visual learning
standards are met (especially for Montessori)
4. Academic Marketing Support:
- Provide content for catalogs, back covers, and brochures
- Support marketing team with academic justification, blurbs \& write-ups
- Assist sales team with academic product presentations or school visits
- Review and approve content for
social media and YouTube scripts
(optional)
5. Research \& Product Development:
- Benchmark local and international book designs
- Suggest and help develop
new educational products
(kits, worksheets, planners)
- Conduct
school visits or teacher feedback sessions
to guide improvements
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Education / Curriculum Development / Early Childhood

Montessori or ECCE diploma/training is strongly preferred
*
3–7 years’ experience in curriculum development or textbook publishing
*
Strong knowledge of SNC, ECCE, Montessori classroom environment
*
Experience managing content teams and book design workflows
Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of child-centered learning \& educational progression
- Ability to manage multiple books, writers, and projects simultaneously
- Strong communication with cross-functional teams (design, marketing, sales)
- Familiarity with
Adobe PDF tools, MS Word, Google Docs, Trello, ClickUp
