**Posting: 2027\-015: Probationary Educational Assistant (1\.0 FTE) SMHS** Start September 2, 2026 Multiple positions available **Duties** The Educational Assistant will work under the supervision and direction of the Principal and the classroom teacher to assist in the instructional programme. Duties include the preparation of materials, instruction\-related activities, assisting with school/classroom management, and support services. **Qualifications** Completion of a post\-secondary education program in: * Educational Support Worker, Educational Assistant Certificate, Early Childhood Education, Social Services Worker, Developmental Services Worker, Child \& Youth Worker, in\-school academic requirements of Educational Assistant Apprenticeship Program or equivalent and/or experience as approved by the Superintendent of Education.
