Job Description
**Job Description:**
We are looking for a highly skilled WordPress DevOps \& Performance Engineer to manage our Plesk\-based VPS and optimize WordPress websites for maximum speed, stability, and scalability.
The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in server management, performance tuning, and advanced configuration rules.
**Responsibilities:**
* Manage and maintain Plesk VPS (security, updates, monitoring)
* Optimize WordPress websites for speed and performance (Core Web Vitals)
* Configure and manage caching (LiteSpeed, Redis, Memcached)
* Optimize database, images, scripts, and overall site structure
* Configure and fine\-tune NGINX/Apache rules (.htaccess, server configs)
* Implement CDN solutions (Cloudflare or similar)
* Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks
* Ensure server and website security best practices
**Requirements:**
* Strong experience with Plesk VPS and Linux servers
* Proven expertise in WordPress speed optimization
* Experience with LiteSpeed, NGINX, Apache, PHP\-FPM tuning
* Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed optimization
* Ability to write custom server rules and performance configs
* Experience with Cloudflare/CDN and caching strategies
* Strong problem\-solving and debugging skills
**Test Assessment (Mandatory):**
To ensure candidate expertise, please complete the following:
1. **Website Audit:**
2. Analyze a slow WordPress website (we will provide URL or you can use any demo site).
* Identify at least
**5 major performance issues**
* Provide specific solutions for each issue
1. **Optimization Plan:**
2. Write a step\-by\-step plan including:
* Caching strategy
* Server\-level improvements (NGINX/Apache/PHP)
* Frontend optimizations (CSS, JS, images)
1. **Bonus (Optional but preferred):**
2. Share a real example (before/after) of a website you optimized, including metrics (PageSpeed, load time, etc.)
