The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's web applications and websites. This role involves working closely with cross\-functional teams to create engaging, user\-friendly, and efficient digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of web development technologies, excellent problem\-solving skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. This is a full\-time, permanent position based in Drayton Valley, AB, offering an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a collaborative environment. **Qualifications** * College diploma or CEGEP certification in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. * Between 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in web development. * Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. * Experience with content management systems, such as WordPress or Joomla. * Knowledge of graphic design software and multimedia tools. * Strong understanding of website optimization and responsive design principles. * Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. **Responsibilities** * Write, modify, integrate, and test software code to develop robust web applications and websites. * Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions effectively to team members and clients. * Prepare detailed reports, manuals, and documentation regarding software operation and maintenance. * Source, select, and organize information for website content, ensuring clarity and relevance. * Design the appearance, layout, and flow of websites to enhance user experience. * Create and optimize website content using a variety of graphics, database tools, animations, and multimedia software. * Program animation software for interactive applications such as CDs, DVDs, video game cartridges, and internet\-based applications. * Develop and test software code for e\-commerce platforms and other internet applications, ensuring functionality and security. **Benefits** We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes a relocation and retention bonus to support your transition and long\-term commitment to our company.
