Transport Modelling Lead

As ITP’s Transport Modelling Lead, you will set the direction for transport modelling for our Advisory Group, combining deep technical capability with strategic leadership. As a member of the Integrated Transport Planning (ITP) team within Haskoning, you will work alongside skilled professionals united by a shared passion for visionled transport planning, designing sustainable mobility solutions that meet people’s needs and help shape places that reflect the unique character of their local context. **What you will do as our Transport Modelling Lead** ---------------------------------------------------- As the Transport Modelling Lead for the ITP Advisory Group, you will provide strategic, technical and commercial leadership across our transport modelling portfolio. You will oversee the development of the discipline in the UK, working closely with senior clients, multidisciplinary teams and international colleagues. This includes: * Setting the strategic direction for transport modelling within ITP, ensuring a strong, coherent and marketleading offer aligned with sustainable, visionled transport planning * Leading and overseeing complex, highprofile transport modelling and strategy commissions, acting as project director, expert adviser or technical authority * Building and growing a successful UKbased transport modelling team, coaching senior colleagues and supporting the development of future leaders within the discipline * Developing and maintaining seniorlevel client relationships, converting these into longterm partnerships and a substantial portfolio of transport modelling and strategy work * Driving innovation and thought leadership in transport modelling, data and visualisation, representing Haskoning at industry events and contributing to publications, conferences and market engagement **What we expect from you** --------------------------- You are a recognised transport modelling leader with deep technical credibility and the ability to shape markets, teams and services. You combine strategic insight with commercial acumen and are motivated by building capability, reputation and longterm client impact. We would anticipate your bringing: * An established track record of leading and delivering complex, sustainable, multimodal transport modelling projects using Aimsun, including advanced model development, calibration, validation, scenario testing and reporting * Extensive experience overseeing large, multidisciplinary projects and portfolios, with accountability for quality, commercial performance and client outcomes * Strong, proportionate application of DfT WebTAG within UK transport modelling, appraisal and optioneering contexts, providing trusted technical leadership to clients and teams * Exceptional client communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to win work, shape commissions and build longterm client relationships * A relevant undergraduate degree (or higher) in transport planning, engineering or a related discipline, with excellent reportwriting, presentation and thoughtleadership capabilities **What you can expect from us** ------------------------------- At Haskoning, we believe that the well\-being of our employees is essential to our shared success.
